Breaking Through Stigma Surrounding Mental Health

On Thursday, September 25th, our lab chaired a resource booth at Voices Unlocked, an evening of music, storytelling and dialogue to break the silence surrounding mental illness. Today, our team members Luis Garcia Lopez and Miracle Craft recap the event. Thanks to everyone who connected with us at the event, and we look forward to more events together!

Voices Unlocked was a unique event in Detroit focused on mental health and breaking stigma. While at the event, we had the pleasure of providing mental health resources to attendees and increasing the exposure of our lab. Thanks to everyone who connected with us! The main event featured live performances with powerful messages that were both entertaining and informative.
