Introducing . . . The Detroit Health Survey!

Help Improve Health in Detroit

This week, we want to tell you about our latest online survey study, the Detroit Health Survey (DHS).

This study aims to better understand community needs related to our current health landscape, with the ultimate goal of enhancing care. This study is designed to uplift community voices and center experiences that will guide future research responsive to identified needs. This study will help inform the work of the Ruvvy Resilience Lab for years to come!

Are you a Detroit resident between the ages of 13 and 85? If so, you are eligible to participate in the Detroit Health Survey!

Researchers at Wayne State University are studying the current health landscape in Detroit, including multiculturalism, transportation, access to technology, community strengths, and mental health. We aim to identify areas where needs are met and uncover gaps in care to guide future research and interventions.

The Detroit Health Survey is a voluntary research study that involves a short, anonymous online survey. This survey is available on Qualtrics through the link below:

If you are a student at Wayne State University, you could earn 0.5 SONA credits for participating in this study! Participation is entirely voluntary and will not affect student or employee relations with the university in any way.

If you have questions about the study, please feel free to contact us at [email protected] or call/text 313-380-1777.

Thank you for your time and consideration!
