Join Us on a Day in Our Lives as Researchers at Scientific Meetings

This past week, Dr. Ruvvy traveled out of town to attend the American College of Neuropsychopharmacology Annual Meeting (ACNP). Here, she spoke on a panel about Science Communication in an Era of Misinformation.

Many scientists don’t receive a formal education in communication. That is why we partner with experts, like Edmund Alyn Jones, and devote focused personnel and training to communications in our lab. We want to make sure we are transparently sharing our work with you at every step of the way, in the most effective way possible!

The panel that Dr. Ruvvy was part of offered scientists an opportunity to learn new information and skills that they may not otherwise be exposed to as part of their education. This is one purpose of scientific meetings.

You may also remember us celebrating the accomplishments of our team members Ujala Janjua, Miracle Craft, and Luis Garcia Lopez—all of whom have presented their research at scientific meetings! For our team members, these meetings are a great chance to meet potential mentors, expand their professional networks, and find future training and opportunities.
