Celebrating Earth Day

Because caring for the planet is caring for ourselves

Happy [belated] Earth Day!  

It may be a day late, but we can always celebrate our home, planet Earth! Earth Day has been formally celebrated since 1970 (55 years ago!). We can celebrate Earth Day on April 22nd, or any day, by picking up litter and planting trees or flowers.

Healthy environments that have green spaces and are free of pollution help to cultivate positive brain development and strong overall health. By making our communities a little greener and a little cleaner, we can take a step towards systematically improving our daily lives and reducing illness.
